PrizePicks is seeking a skilled and experienced Disputes Supervisor to support the chargeback and disputes team. The Disputes Supervisor will play a critical role in training and supervising the team to determine the legitimacy of dispute claims and identify instances of 1st party fraud or 3rd party fraud. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring accountability and quality assurance in dispute resolution processes.



What you’ll do:

  • Team Oversight: Supervise and mentor an overseas team responsible for handling chargeback alerts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Develop comprehensive training programs to equip team members with the knowledge and skills required to accurately assess dispute claims, differentiate between legitimate disputes and fraudulent activity, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and consistency in dispute resolution processes. Conduct regular reviews of team performance and provide constructive feedback to maintain high standards of work quality.
  • Dispute Analysis: Analyze dispute data and trends to identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to minimize chargeback rates and associated financial losses.
  • Fraud Detection: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify patterns of fraudulent activity and develop proactive measures to mitigate risks associated with 1st party and 3rd party fraud.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of dispute cases, including outcomes and resolutions. Generate reports to track key performance indicators and provide insights for decision-making purposes.

 What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2-4  years of experience in chargeback management or dispute resolution, preferably with aeropay1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of chargeback processes and fraud detection techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
