Job Responsibilities
- Review and respond to customer disputes and chargebacks by utilizing system tools, following best practices and payment type regulations to reach an appropriate resolution
- Analyze and identify links between fraud and non fraud customer claims to help with identifying and fighting friendly fraud, returns fraud and false fraud claims.
- Help manage internal negative lists
- Work with various Customer Care teams to find the best resolution for non-fraud disputes
- The Chargeback Analyst will learn and apply new skills as required to ensure the future success of the company
- Maintaining basic spreadsheets for reporting purposes.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.

Job Requirements
- Must have excellent organizational and time management skills, and ability to handle multiple cases at once in several case management systems while meeting strict deadlines
- Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in volume driven and time sensitive environment
- 2+ years of experience in handling chargebacks (as a merchant or credit card issuer), fraud prevention experience, accounts payable experience or related accounting field
- Must adapt to changing policies and stay current with card issuers dispute guidelines to ensure all cases are handled appropriately
- Good oral/written communication skills
- Pass a criminal and financial background check

Education
High school diploma or equivalent is required. BA Degree in finance, business or accounting preferred.
