Job Description

Responsible

▪Development of electronics components for driving driver information systems like displays and touch panel (e.g. capacitive touch)
▪Technical project managementor sub-project managent for related component or sub-system
▪Co-ordination and tracking of all involved parties (internal disciplines, extern development partners, suppliers)
▪Preparation of detailed component or sub-system specifications according customer and application requirements
▪Setup up and review of samples (organizing the necessary measurements ,evaluations and tests; analyzing of results)
▪Definition and initiating of optimizations for the electro-optical units in term of cost and performance
▪Electrical Interface to System
▪Align EMC/ESD concept for DISPLAY with system concept
▪Perform Simulations, measurements and validations (signal integrity, electrical interface)
▪Define electrical requirements for DISPLAY and support technical communication with supplier
▪Define DISPLAY calibration concept and develop calibration method
▪Develop ASIC’s and FPGA’s for DISPLAY features (i.e. local dimming, color correction, )

Support

▪Support the series introduction of these units together with the application departments and other disciplines
▪Supporting the application areas in all kind of display related questions
▪Supporting the production and quality department in case of series problems related to the display
▪Support definition of HW concept for driving DISPLAY
▪Support HW/SW interface specification regarding DISPLAY driving related items
▪Support Layout reviews of electrical circuits (PCB, FPC) on Display
▪Support EMC measurements (internal and with supplier)
▪Support of the NPL for production related DT_EE topics (i.e. display calibration) and ramp up

 Collaboration 

▪Optical concept development
▪Design of driving electronics
▪Display ASIC development, which contains the algorithms
▪Validation of solution
▪Collaboration with internal and with customers & suppliers

Qualifications

 

  1. Display principle & technology and related optical performance                                 
  2. Good knowledge of the product components (electrical engineering, software, mechanical engineering)

  4. Good language skills (English)
