Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily scheduling and dispatching of all bus routes

• Monitor on-time performance and resolve routing issues

• Serve as the main communication liaison with key clients and contracted partners

• Coach and counsel drivers and monitors to support safety and service standards

• Handle incoming phone and radio traffic, including customer and driver inquiries

• Address scheduling concerns and escalate issues to the Operations Supervisor or Contract Manager as needed

• Support charter reservations, billing, and/or payroll tasks when necessary

• Assist with special projects and provide backup driver coverage or clerical support as needed

• Contribute to the overall success of day-to-day terminal operations

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• 3–5 years of experience in dispatch, terminal operations, or a related transportation role

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Proficiency with computers and radio dispatch systems

• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines

• Previous experience working with drivers, routes, or scheduling is highly desirable

• Must have a valid CDL Class B – or be willing to obtain one within 90 days of hire

• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical requirements. Please note: DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
