We are currently looking for a Dispatcher who will join our team based in Vado Ligure and will be hired to work on shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure that all operations are executed in accordance to the priorities set by the Shift Manager,
- To report any problem in operations and to implement the agreed changes to solve the problems;
- To ensure the optimum utilization of all equipment;
- To ensure smooth and speedy movement of containers to and/or from rail siding and external road traffic vehicles transfer area;
- To update the system with equipment identification on a continual basis;
- To monitors the dispatch queues to identify potential clashes and delays in the yard;
- To manually dispatche work instructions that are not in an automatic dispatch queue;
- Responsible to elaborate reports requested by the management;
We're looking for
- High school diploma and a college degree in Logistics, Operations Management, or related discipline;
- Italian at mothertoungue level, proficiency with English language
- Lean-minded: we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement – someone who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day.
- In depth knowledge of logistics, yard planning/lay-out and container terminal operations;
- Effective analytical, numeracy, reporting and problem-solving skills;
- Proactive approach to improve systems and procedures that will lead to operational efficiency;
- High level of planning and organizational skills;
- Able to work in a team

Job location: Vado Ligure, no relocation or VISA support provided.
