Come and join our talented Creative Development Team at Disney & Pixar Games. This unique position requires a highly creative and dedicated individual to partner with the best game developers from across the globe to build the next generation of Disney & Pixar Games.
As an art intern within Creative Development, you will be responsible for providing support to the artists on our creative development team. You will assist with visual guidance and brand feedback to our external partners, as well as provide concept and design support as needed, to elevate the visual quality of our diverse portfolio of mobile, console, and PC games.
If selected, you will partner with a senior Artist to review assigned visual development submissions and to help guide the artistic design of our projects; ensuring that each game is a compelling, appealing, and authentic Disney & Pixar experience.
This is full-time onsite position in Glendale, CA from mid January-June 4th 2027.
What You Will Do:
- Play game development builds, and review art asset submissions, to generate brand and qualitative feedback
- Assist in providing visual feedback, guidance, resources and direction to help deliver quality and brand authenticity across assigned games in the form of draw-overs, painter-overs, and written notes
- Collaborate with external game partners, through internal project leads, on visual designs throughout the product lifecycle (from ideation to release to live operations) on assigned projects
- Problem-solve brand/visual design challenges, in collaboration with project leads
- Contribute to special internal projects beyond visual development of games, including the creation of team branding items, presentation decks and unique executions
- Brand & Franchise Guidance: Research existing and upcoming Disney and Pixar IP guidelines to provide guidance to our partners that ensure that the game art direction and visuals within our products are being designed and executed mindfully, authentically, and respectfully
- Act as a support for their direct manager, and art team at large, as they creatively oversee and guide projects from beginning to end, keeping them updated on assignment progress
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven ability to create compelling artwork, graphics and illustrations
- Strong passion and enthusiasm for Disney & Pixar Brands and IP
- An avid fan of games and gaming who stays up to date on new games and is a gameplayer
- Clear understanding of various gaming platforms (Mobile, Console, and PC) and various game types and genres
- 2D art skills with ability to draw and illustrate Disney-like characters and worlds
- Additional skills in one of the following additional art backgrounds: character design, 2D art, 2D animation, 3D art, environmental design, and UI Design
- Good artistic knowledge and ability to execute various art styles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present feedback and ideas in a clear and concise manner
- Self-starter, reliable, and passionate about their work; committed to their discipline and its challenges
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with graphic art including UI, Logo Design, presentation deck graphics and branding elements

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information:
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship,
- Fully available from January 11th-June 4th, 2027, working M-F, 40 hours/week
- Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Glendale, CA area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
