We are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer based in Guadalajara, Mexico to lead and deliver high-impact visual designs across digital and print formats. This creative, strategic, and detail-oriented professional will work in close collaboration with the Marketing, Sales, and Communications teams to execute a variety of design projects, marketing programs, events, promotions, and other initiatives that support Vallen's brand and business objectives. You must be a highly creative thinker, strong communicator, and proactive executor who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
General Marketing:
- Lead high-visibility, complex design projects from concept through execution with minimal supervision.
- Design compelling creative assets across digital and print platforms, including:
- Sales collateral, one-pagers, brochures
- Email campaigns, landing pages, blog graphics
- PowerPoint presentations, training materials, event branding
- Social media graphics, video content, and internal communications
- Translate complex ideas and content into clear, visually engaging designs.
- Uphold and evolve brand standards across all creative materials to ensure consistency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders from Marketing, Sales, Operations, and subject matter experts to ensure design meets business and audience needs
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and high attention to quality.
- Provide creative direction and constructive feedback to internal clients and junior designers when necessary.
- Coordinate and manage workflow using collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Teams).
- Produce and edit video content, including short-form social videos and corporate communications (experience in After Effects is a plus).
Required Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) -- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Must pass an English proficiency assessment with a satisfactory and/or proficient score.
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in a B2B or agency environment.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, typography, layout, and creative storytelling across digital and print formats.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides).
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with basic web design and UX/UI principles is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience working with global brand guidelines and cross-cultural teams.
- Local to Guadalajara, Mexico and able to work full-time in-office.
