Department Summary
Surpassing network limitations of the past, our Wireless Development team is building and enhancing the country's first cloud-native, standalone 5G wireless network. This is the foundation of a connected world flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of today and the future.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive disaster recovery (DR) frameworks and emergency response playbooks for field operations
- Coordinate with NOC, market teams, and IT to integrate DR strategies into daily operations
- Design and conduct regular DR drills and tabletop exercises to evaluate response protocols and improve recovery efficiency
- Conduct risk assessments and Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure DR strategies align with network and business continuity plans
- Provide DR training and awareness programs to field teams, promoting resilience best practices
Task Inventory
- Develop, document, and maintain a robust Disaster Recovery Plan tailored to ORAN network operations
- Lead regular DR testing exercises and post-test reviews to identify gaps and drive improvements
- Collaborate with IT and field operations to ensure critical assets have appropriate backup and recovery procedures
- Create and disseminate emergency response playbooks and training materials
- Monitor emerging threats and update resilience strategies to mitigate potential disruptions
- Advanced Security and Theft Prevention during Active Disaster Recovery Events

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in disaster recovery, emergency management, or operational resilience within the telecommunications sector
Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing DR strategies, including conducting BIAs and DR drills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and operational teams
- Certifications such as CBCP or similar (or willingness to obtain certification within a year) are highly desirable
- A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure in rapidly evolving environments
- Up to 50% Travel and Active Disaster Recovery Events

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year
