The Disassembler performs routine and non-routine production duties to disassemble and clean air compressors and diesel generators. This position is responsible for visual and quantifiable inspection of the results of their process.
Responsibilities
- Disassembly air compressors and generators while reclaiming as many parts as possible
- Use machining and hand tools to clean parts to be used in the finished goods
- Create usable finished product which meets specifications within the standard time allowed while following all work instructions
- Select proper tooling to disassemble and clean air compressor and generator components
- Set up and operate special equipment such as torque tools (automated and manual)
- Report defective materials, equipment, or questionable conditions to the Supervisor to correct the issue
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and policies
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area

1st shift: Monday - Friday 6:30-3:00, overtime on 5am start time and on Saturdays as needed
