VCA’s North America Digital Partners + Fintech team sits at the intersection of strategy, technology and innovation, partnering with some of the most dynamic fintech and technology companies to solve their most critical business challenges. We deliver high‑impact, data-driven insights that drive growth, improve profitability, as well as unlock new value across strategic expansion, customer experience, digital payments and risk management. What makes this team especially compelling is the client base. Tech and fintech companies are consistently early adopters of emerging technologies like AI, crypto and next‑gen digital platforms. This gives the team a front‑row seat to cutting‑edge problems at the forefront of the industry – shaping what’s next in commerce and financial technology.

VCA is looking for a seasoned leader to join the Digital Partners + Fintech team. This Director will serve as a senior leader within VCA’s Digital Partners + Fintech team, responsible for driving consulting revenue, leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering high-impact engagements for some of Visa’s most strategic technology and fintech clients. This role combines commercial ownership (selling and account expansion) and engagement leadership (end-to-end delivery) while shaping Visa’s position as a trusted strategic partner to the digital ecosystem.

Engagements may include payments and digital commerce strategy, competitive and performance benchmarking, card and wallet value proposition development, customer life cycle analytics (acquisition, engagement, retention), personalization, customer segmentation, loyalty optimization, propensity modeling and geospatial insights to name a few.

Specific responsibilities include:

Client Leadership & Commercial Growth:

  • Serve as a senior advisor to client executives, leading strategic planning discussions and identifying opportunities to expand Visa’s consulting footprint.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of consulting and analytics engagements in partnership with Visa account teams.
  • Lead proposal development, scoping, pricing, and pitching of complex consulting engagements.

Engagement Ownership & Delivery Excellence:

  • Own consulting engagements end to end, from project structuring through delivery (e.g., scoping, team and work management, client presentation development and delivery).
  • Lead teams to solve complex strategic problems, synthesize insights, and deliver clear, executive-ready recommendations.
  • Oversee project structures, timelines, and quality across multi-workstream, multi-stakeholder engagements.

Analytics & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Develop scalable, data-driven frameworks that drive client growth, customer engagement, and strategic decision-making.
  • Apply deep expertise in payments, fintech business models, and competitive dynamics, leveraging Visa and client data assets.
  • Partner closely with peers across data science, crytpo, marketing, product, risk and others to deliver multi-disciplinary projects.

Operational Excellence:

  • Manage internal systems and processes related to pricing approvals, data privacy, legal, funding reviews and revenue recognition.
  • Use data and metrics to identify risks, track performance, and continuously improve engagement outcomes.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated, highly accountable leader who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing environments. The successful candidate will build enduring relationships with senior clients and internal stakeholders, demonstrate strong ownership mindset, and lead teams with clarity and purpose.

This role reports to a Senior Director within VCA.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
