Leads the long-term UX/UI direction for Miele’s digital products and connected services. Your Responsibilities
- Working closely with Product Design and Smart Home, you shape the long-term direction for Miele’s digital products and connected services, translating user insights, emerging technologies and market trends into a seamless premium experience across physical and digital touchpoints
- Across products and platforms, you establish a scalable UX architecture and Design System with consistent user flows, interaction patterns, navigation principles and UI standards
- Through clear UX/UI guidelines, documentation and design processes, you create the framework for consistent quality, scalable solutions and efficient collaboration across teams and products
- Across the portfolio, you steer UX/UI quality, priorities, resources and timelines while identifying risks and dependencies early and balancing user needs, technical feasibility and business requirements
- As a leader, you develop our experienced UX/UI team through clear direction, regular feedback and coaching, while building a shared understanding of experience quality across disciplines
What we are looking for
- You hold a degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Communication Design, Media Informatics or a comparable discipline, complemented by extensive professional experience in a similar UX/UI or Experience Design role
- Leadership experience in multidisciplinary Experience Design teams within a complex, international product environment enable you to provide direction and make sound decisions even when priorities compete
- Your experience includes defining UX strategies, UX architectures and Design Systems across digital and physical touchpoints, with a clear focus on creating coherent premium experiences
- Strategic thinking comes with a strong design vision and hands-on mindset, allowing you to turn complexity into clear decisions and bring together customer needs, brand ambition, technology and business goals
- In international and senior stakeholder environments, you communicate with confidence, lead discussions effectively and bring the German and English language skills needed to collaborate across teams and functions
Skills Required
- Degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Communication Design, Media Informatics, or a comparable discipline.
- Extensive professional experience in a similar UX/UI or Experience Design role.
- Leadership experience in multidisciplinary Experience Design teams within a complex, international product environment.
- Experience defining UX strategies, UX architectures, and Design Systems across digital and physical touchpoints.
- Strong design vision and strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to solving complex problems.
- Ability to balance customer needs, brand ambition, technology, and business goals.
- Confident communication and discussion leadership with senior international stakeholders.
- German and English language skills.
