Director, US Sales

Summary

Are you a proven sales leader ready to take Axis Americas to the next level? The Director of Sales, US is a visible, critical leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving all sales activities in 6 Business Areas across the US. The selected individual will work closely with other department heads to achieve company objectives and will be a member of the Axis Americas Management Team.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market presence  Identify and develop new revenue streams

• Lead, mentor, and scale a world-class sales organization

• Establish metrics and processes to optimize the sales pipeline

• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Technical Services to ensure cohesive go-to-market execution Collaborate with Human Resources to design and implement compensation plans, manage performance and develop teams

• Partner with the executive team to shape the company’s strategic direction

• Represent the company at industry events and with key strategic customers

• Lead complex enterprise-level contract negotiations

• Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to the executive team

• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities

• Address and resolve complex customer or team challenges promptly in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of progressive sales leadership with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role in the security industry (or related) including channel or B2B experience

• Proven experience meeting or exceeding revenue targets

• Deep understanding of security (or related) technologies, solutions, and industry trends

• Demonstrated analytical and forecasting experience

• Decisive leadership with a demonstrated ability to make confident, data-driven decisions

• Proven experience coaching, developing, and motivating team members

• Demonstrated competence in business leadership, people leadership and organizational leadership
