We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Director for the Manulife Pro dedicated team. This role is critical in ensuring our operational efficiency, maintaining service quality, and achieving stakeholder satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring turnaround time (TAT) to meet service standards, providing real-time support to team members for efficient case handling and issue resolution, and serving as a designated underwriter for our VIP agents.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage turnaround times (TAT) to ensure service standards are consistently met.

  • Provide real-time support and guidance to team members to facilitate efficient case handling and timely issue resolution.

  • Serve as a designated underwriter for VIP agents, offering expert underwriting support and advice.

  • Act as an Underwriting representative for designed district directors, coordinating underwriting support across multiple districts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

  • Lead and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in underwriting

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of underwriting processes and principles.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

  • Familiarity with the insurance industry and regulations.

  • Certification in underwriting or a related field.
