About the Opportunity

Office of Peer Tutoring at Northeastern University

Northeastern Peer Tutoring provides free, peer-to-peer academic support for undergraduate students, connecting them with highly qualified Northeastern peers who have excelled in the courses they tutor. The program offers one-on-one and small-group tutoring, delivered in person and online through an external tutoring platform, across a range of supported courses each semester. Peer tutoring is designed to promote academic success, strengthen student confidence, and support learning through collaborative, student-centered engagement. Tutors participate in structured training and professional development aligned with College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA) standards at all three levels. The program also partners with faculty and campus stakeholders to ensure tutoring services are visible, accessible, and aligned with broader academic support efforts.
