The Educational Training & Development Department provides clinical and non-clinical education, professional development, leadership development, and community education across the organization. 

Director, Training and Development

Job Requirements:

  • This position provides leadership for the function of staff education through direct supervision, planning,
    consultation, and teaching.
  • Assures that Leadership training is consistent with the strategic directions of the facility and the organization.
  • Collaborates with internal experts to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information to the staff. 
  • Utilizes a variety of methodologies to accomplish mandatory education.
  • Provides frequent feedback to team members based upon PI principles and individual needs.
  • Prepares and manages the budget reflecting the organizational/team goals.
  • Defines, analyzes, and implements the most efficient workflow utilizing PI principles.
  • Creates a work and service environment which is seamless and focused on delivery of high-quality services.

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Education, Hospital Administration, or other health related field
  • Current KY RN License
  • Three (3) years’ healthcare teaching experience and program development in healthcare field
  • Minimum five (5) years’ health care experience
  • Trained in Adult Education Principles
