The Director of Technology will be the strategic leader in defining and executing our data vision. This role requires a robust understanding of both business needs and advanced technical solutions and demands extensive experience in a consulting landscape, managing large-scale data projects and teams, along with a deep understanding of data-driven decision-making.
Expertise Needed:
- Provide Technical Guidance/Expertise: Offer technical oversight and support for all data and analytics projects. Ensure the successful implementation of technical solutions, address complex issues, and provide guidance to teams to maintain high-quality standards and project success
- Manage Client Engagements: Define project deliverables, secure client buy-in from top management, and ensure successful execution and client satisfaction
- Identify Opportunities & Drive Growth: Spearhead the development and expansion of our data and analytics practice. Lead efforts in business development and provide strategic direction to enhance service delivery and solidify our market presence.
Provide governance and oversight for all data and analytics projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivering impactful results - Enhance Team Performance: Foster a high-performance culture by implementing effective team strategies, providing mentorship, and supporting career growth. Focus on maximising productivity and job satisfaction to elevate team and individual performance.
Requirements
- Experience: Over 12 years across Data, Analytics, Engineering & Cloud, with over 5 years in consulting, strategy and solution delivery.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of the modern tech stack, with a hands-on approach when needed. Solid grasp of data governance and data quality management.
- Authentic Leadership: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with exceptional communication and presentation skills, especially with executive leadership.
- Insight: Ability to translate complex technical data into strategic business insights
