Position Summary

As a key member of the Digital, Data, Analytics and Technology (“DDAT”) team, this role will join a dynamic organization committed to the acceleration of business growth, enhancement of the customer experiences, and enablement of operational efficiencies by powering CVS Health to be a ‘digital first, technology forward and data driven’ company.  With a commitment to a ‘Startup within a large company’ culture, DDAT is at the center of CVS Health transformation.

The Director, Sales Enablement supports creation of CVS Health – Caremark’s technology story through creation of our sales enablement strategy and associated materials to enable and empower our sales and account teams to represent our technology first vision and capabilities.  They develop our education and sales enablement strategy,  plan the rollout and execute the creation of various artifacts including but not limited to: presentations, videos, articles/stories, etc.  They collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and deliver training programs, provide tools and resources, and optimize professional services and client operations processes.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

External (Client-Facing)

  • Develop our client facing strategy to tell the Caremark technology story
  • Develop and deliver branded client-facing materials (e.g., pitch decks, explainer videos, demo guides, product one-pagers) that articulate our technology strategy, value proposition, and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with sales and account teams to customize messaging and visuals for client pursuits, RFPs, and executive briefings.
  • Serve as a storytelling expert and creative partner for new business initiatives, helping shape how we present ourselves to the market.
  • Design and maintain a client asset library that supports different stages of the client lifecycle, including onboarding and adoption.
  • Support go-to-market campaigns and marketing events by creating high-impact content aligned to audience needs.

Internal (Training & Enablement)

  • Develop and execute a creative education strategy that supports PS and DDAT goals, particularly in enabling client-facing teams.
  • Lead the creation of internal training materials, onboarding guides, explainer content, and learning paths to ensure internal teams understand and can confidently communicate our offerings.
  • Partner with technology leaders, trainers, and operations teams to ensure content is current, digestible, and tied to real-world workflows.
  • Facilitate workshops or virtual sessions to enhance team knowledge, confidence, and consistency.
  • Create engaging content formats (e.g., microlearning, infographics, recorded walkthroughs) that meet diverse learning preferences.
  • Establish and maintain a process for the ongoing review and updating of training materials to maintain accuracy, relevance, and engagement.
  • Ensure all content aligns with best practices in instructional design and storytelling, fostering a seamless learning experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Customer centric, creative and strategic; prior customer facing experience is preferred
  • Mastery of communicating with impact across multiple mediums

  • Strong track record of effective communication; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to convey information in an accessible, concise, and clear manner
  • Project management experience required
  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder client environment
  • Highly collaborative and communicative with experience working in fast-paced, multi-functional team environments
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision, with proven analytical and critical thinking skills
  • High energy level; comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
  • Ability to travel ~10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Mastery of communicating technology concepts and capabilities
  • Experience in the healthcare or pharmacy benefits industry

Education
Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience. Masters degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
