Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Director, Finance Business Partner – Technology Infrastructure to serve as a strategic finance partner to senior technology leadership.

This is a highly visible, hands-on finance leadership position supporting a large and complex technology organization. The successful candidate must bring a strong background in technology finance, significant hands-on FP&A experience, and experience owning or supporting a large financial portfolio.

This is not a role for someone who has moved completely away from the details of FP&A. The Director must be comfortable operating strategically with executives while remaining hands-on with financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and business-partnering activities.

The role reports to the VP, Finance Business Partner and also includes responsibility for managing and developing finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning and reporting activities for a designated area within a large technology organization.
  • Own and support:
  • Annual budgeting

  • Evaluate ongoing deals, contracts, business cases, and other strategic opportunities.
  • Provide financial counsel and analysis related to business agreements and investment decisions.
  • Support contract management, deal management, pricing, and product-management activities from a finance perspective.
  • Apply Technology Business Management (TBM) principles to technology-cost allocation and product P&L management.
  • Partner with sourcing and other cross-functional teams to identify efficiencies and ensure financial performance aligns with established targets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
  • Develop strategies and procedures for process-improvement initiatives and lead implementation.
