Position Summary

The Director of Technical Product Management is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing activities related to a specific product or group of products, from initial concept and planning through production, release, and eventual phase-out. The successful candidate will sit within our casino tables product division, reporting into the Director of Product Management.

This role serves as the key liaison across design, manufacturing, testing, quality, and marketing as products move through production and distribution. Involvement spans the entire product lifecycle, including modifications, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide vision, leadership, and direction for specific product lines and categories.
  • Demonstrate product vision, critical thinking, and foster innovation.
  • Drive hardware strategy and key business decisions for assigned products and services.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis, identifying gaps and opportunities in collaboration with commercial leads.
  • Set pricing and commercial models for products.
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, from concept to launch, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Support the marketing team with sales enablement and act as a subject matter expert for pre-sales.
  • Define and communicate the product roadmap, covering new development and break-fix support.
  • Manage collaboration between US and India teams to optimize product development and launch.
  • Identify new product opportunities and oversee the development process from concept to distribution.
  • Hire, mentor, and manage mid- to senior-level professionals, ensuring long-term career growth.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to refine the business model and execute product launches.
  • Provide technical and market expertise for specific gaming markets, driving product success across various regions.

Qualifications

  • Over 15 years of experience in full life-cycle product development and management.
  • Essential experience in physical product development.
  • Familiarity with both hardware and software products is advantageous.
  • Experience in the gaming industry is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with a solid understanding of processes and project roadmaps.
  • Proven leadership abilities complemented by strong organizational and management skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable business and gaming legal codes, regulatory compliance, and industry protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving, goal-setting, and analytical skills.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, including ROI assessments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the gaming industry and its regulatory framework.
