We are hiring for this position in San Jose, Austin, or Phoenix, and are also open to candidates working remotely within the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and implement tax advice relevant to cross-border and domestic operations, product line expansion, supply chain initiatives, intellectual property management, financing, mergers and acquisitions, and international expansion.
- Support wide-ranging, global tax matters such as tax controversy, transfer pricing, advance pricing agreements, tax incentives, international taxes, withholding taxes, and Pillar 2 and other minimum taxes.
- Monitor global tax legislative and regulatory developments, assess their impact on the business, and lead implementation of required changes.
- Partner with tax operations to ensure planning initiatives are appropriately reflected in tax reporting and filings.
- Lead cross-functional projects, balancing technical excellence with practical execution while influencing collaborators across all levels of the organization.
- Mentor and develop members of the tax team while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Required Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, tax or a related field.
- CPA, JD, and/or master's degree or equivalent experience in taxation are desirable.
- 10+ years of dynamic corporate tax experience, including experience in international tax planning within a multinational organization and/or a major public accounting or law firm.
- Excellent skills in factual development, tax research, documentation, and communication and coordination with third-party advisors and internal collaborators.
- Strong technical knowledge of international tax principles and experience working with cross-border tax issues affecting multinational enterprises.
- The ability to translate complex tax issues into practical business advice and influence decision-making across multiple functional areas.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership experience, including hiring and developing tax professionals.
- High degree of initiative, ownership, sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn new technical areas and adapt to changing business needs.

Salary Range:
$233,600-$316,000 per year
