About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Talent to lead and optimize our recruiting efforts across the organization as we enter growth mode. You will be responsible for building a world-class recruiting function, ensuring ShopMy attracts and retains elite talent as we scale. The ideal candidate is a recruiting powerhouse with a proven track record of scaling teams in high-growth startups, while maintaining a full desk of roles themselves. We are seeking someone with a deep understanding of recruiting strategies, employer branding, and expertise in how to cultivate an organizational culture that attracts top performers.

Your Impact to the Role:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to support ShopMy’s rapid growth
  • Lead the full lifecycle recruiting process, ensuring timely hiring of top talent across all functions
  • Partner with leadership to forecast and prioritize hiring needs, and allocate resources effectively
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing recruiting team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
  • Establish best practices and scalable processes for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring
  • Elevate ShopMy’s employer brand to attract the best talent in the market
  • Drive initiatives that showcase our culture, values, and career growth opportunities
  • Define and track KPIs for recruiting effectiveness, including time-to-hire, candidate experience, and quality of hire
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting tools and processes to enhance efficiency
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the hiring process and across the organization
  • Partner with People/HR teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and promote retention strategies aligned with company culture

What We're Looking For:

  • 8+ years of talent acquisition experience
  • 5+ years in high-growth startups (SaaS preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in scaling recruiting functions for organizations experiencing rapid growth
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Deep understanding of talent market trends, employer branding, and best practices in recruiting
  • Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven

Bonus Points:

  • Greenhouse ATS expertise
  • History of hiring executive leaders for early stage companies
  • Generalist GTM background with tech and non-tech experience

In compliance with New York Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is as shown. We note that salary information as a general guideline only, actual compensation may vary from posting based on the offer for this role, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, key skills, education, training and business considerations. 

New York Pay Range
$160,000$200,000 USD

The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation. ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how our business needs evolve throughout the search. Every employee of ShopMy receives equity on top of cash compensation!
