Job Responsibilities:
• Develops and implements a comprehensive Systems strategy aligned with Philips' innovation and engineering goals, ensuring efficient and secure systems support research and development activities.
• Establishes and enforces robust Systems governance frameworks and conducts regular reviews and audits of Systems and processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and security standards.
• Champions innovation within the Systems department, exploring emerging technologies and solutions to enhance operational excellence and increased innovation outcomes.
• Defines and communicates a clear Systems vision for the Innovation and Engineering department, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Leads and directs a team of Systems professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and guidance for their professional development.
• Implements performance management frameworks to evaluate team effectiveness and identify areas for growth and optimization.
• Oversees the development and execution of Systems service & solution delivery plans, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) and project timelines.
• Forges strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across Innovation and Engineering, effectively communicating Systems capabilities and solutions.
• Influences key decisions related to technology adoption and infrastructure investments, advocating for solutions that best support innovation goals.
• Leads succession planning and comprehensive talent management, driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, and career development in alignment with organizational operational goals.
Minimum required Education:
Minimum Experience: 17 years in total, with 8+ years (Bachelor’s) or 6+ years (Master’s) in System Architecture, System Design, Hardware Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum required Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 6 years of experience with Master's in areas such as System Architecture, System Design, Hardware Engineering or equivalent.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
