DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Supply Chain will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our supply chain operations within our manufacturing environment. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive transformation projects, optimize processes, and lead a team to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. The Director will work closely with various departments to ensure the seamless flow of materials from suppliers to production to delivery to customers, aiming to enhance overall supply chain performance and contribute to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with the company’s business goals
- Lead the transformation of supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all supply chain functions
Operational Management
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
- Ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, logistics providers, and other external partners
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, sales, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support for supply chain initiatives
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership and other stakeholders to report on supply chain performance and project progress
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of supply chain projects
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost control and financial performance
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities throughout the supply chain.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting related to supply chain operations
Technology and Innovation:
- Implement and optimize supply chain technology solutions, such as ERP, WMS, and TMS systems
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in the supply chain
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment
- ASCM certifications/experience desired
- Proven experience in leading supply chain transformation projects and initiatives
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
- Extensive experience with ERP/DRP/TMS/WMS systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and drive operational excellence
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and technology solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel as needed to support supply chain operations and projects

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 to $190,000 + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
