Director of Supply Chain Planning

Job Summary:
The Director of Supply Chain Planning is responsible for leading and transforming the entire supply chain function at an enterprise level, serving as a key executive with significant influence on company strategy and performance.

This position develops and executes visionary supply chain strategies, network disruptions, and business transformations that create exceptional competitive advantage and shareholder value. The role requires distinguished product and technical mastery, executive business acumen, and transformational leadership to optimize global supply chain networks, planning capabilities, and operational excellence while ensuring industry-leading service performance, financial efficiency, and cost leadership.

The Director of Supply Chain Planning partners with strategic partners, and industry leaders to shape semiconductor supply chain strategy and industry direction. This position navigates complex global market dynamics while addressing fundamental operational challenges and strategic business transformations. Lastly, this person will lead planning teams and cross functional activities to develop inventory strategies, manage resources, and consensus demand to ensure build plans that support inventory and revenue goals.

Responsibilities:
Enterprise Supply Chain Strategy and Transformation:

• Develop and implement visionary supply chain strategies
• Disruptive network transformations, and business model innovations across the global enterprise.
• Analyze industry dynamics, future market requirements, and competitive landscape.
• Optimize enterprise value, supply chain leadership, and strategic position.
• Address fundamental business challenges and implement transformational solutions to create sustainable competitive advantage and shareholder value.

Global Supply Chain Excellence and Business Leadership:

• Establish and optimize world-class supply chain systems, global network architectures, and enterprise capabilities to maximize competitive distinction and stakeholder returns.
• Direct strategic supply chain initiatives with board oversight, customer engagements, and industry partnerships.
• Analyze enterprise performance against market requirements and implement transformational initiatives to address strategic opportunities.
• Ensure optimal configuration of global supply chain leadership, network distinctions, and future capabilities.

Executive Leadership and Organization Transformation:

• Lead and transform the entire supply chain organization, executive leadership team, and global talent strategy.
• Establish company vision, performance culture, and strategic direction for operational excellence.
• Implement distinguished talent strategies, leadership excellence systems, and organizational transformations. Address enterprise capability requirements and implement innovative organizational solutions.
• Create an industry-leading culture of excellence, innovation, and strategic impact across the global company.

Technology Vision and Innovation Leadership:

• Direct disruptive technology strategies, breakthrough innovation programs, and industry-shaping initiatives across the enterprise and ecosystem.
• Establish visionary technology roadmaps, innovation models, and supply chain paradigms.
• Analyze future technology trajectories, innovation horizons, and competitive dynamics.
• Lead transformational technology initiatives and disruptive innovation programs.
• Champion technology leadership and operational excellence throughout the industry and ecosystem.

Enterprise Risk Leadership and Strategic Governance:

• Champion sophisticated risk leadership frameworks, strategic resilience systems, and governance excellence across the global enterprise.
• Establish enterprise risk strategies, business continuity architectures, and governance models.
• Address mission-critical business risks, strategic vulnerabilities, and industry challenges.
• Promote world-class risk governance and compliance leadership.
• Ensure comprehensive management of enterprise value protection, sustainability leadership, and corporate responsibilities.

Industry Leadership and External Influence:

• Identify and implement industry-shaping strategies, ecosystem transformations, and supply chain leadership initiatives.
• Lead external influence strategies, industry consortia, and operational innovation initiatives.
• Analyze global dynamics and future requirements to identify strategic transformation opportunities.
• Develop influential industry positions, global standards, and operational frameworks to enhance industry trajectory and company leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field;
• Minimum 20+ years of experience in supply chain management with at least 10+ years in senior executive roles
• Distinguished experience with integrated supply chain operations, planning systems, and operational leadership
• Executive expertise in network optimization, process architecture, and global business leadership
• C-suite background in financial management, enterprise transformation, and shareholder value creation
• Recognized authority in semiconductor industry dynamics and supply chain innovation

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree, MBA, PhD in in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Distinguished mastery of supply chain principles, integrated business planning, and operational excellence
• Executive leadership experience with enterprise systems, advanced analytics, and digital transformation
• Visionary understanding of technology futures, innovation models, and supply chain differentiation
• Executive expertise in enterprise risk governance, global resilience, and strategic compliance
• Transformational leadership skills with ability to inspire and transform global organizations
• Distinguished problem-solving capabilities with experience addressing industry-defining challenges
• C-suite communication and influence skills with ability to engage effectively with board members, industry leaders, and global stakeholders

• Executive analytical capabilities including enterprise valuation, strategic positioning, and global optimization
• Ability to develop and implement visionary supply chain strategies, technology disruptions, and business transformations

Travel Requirements:

• Domestic travel required up to 35% of the time
• International travel required up to 30% of the time, to global operations, strategic partners, and industry leadership forums

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $155,000 - $225,000.  There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
