The Director of Digital Supply Chain Solutions is a key leader within Digital Technology and a member of the OSCQ Digital Technology leadership team. This leader is responsible for defining and executing the digital strategy that enables business outcomes across the Supply Chain organization - including Planning, Sourcing, Procurement, Property Management, and Logistics. This role will lead and influence the supply chain digital solution strategy across RTX teams and serve as Raytheon Digital’s primary voice for supply chain needs, priorities, and capabilities.

This role leads teams that design, build, integrate, and scale digital solutions that drive measurable improvements in supply chain performance. Success requires strong digital solution and product management experience, deep supply chain expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead and develop a high-performing organization.

What You Will Do

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute a multi-year digital strategy that enables business outcomes across supply chain domains.
  • Lead the ongoing evolution of an existing portfolio of digital supply chain products by enhancing and building capabilities that drive key business objectives, while partnering with functional and DT leaders to harmonize legacy solutions, reduce technical debt, and simplify the digital ecosystem.
  • Build strategic partnerships with Supply Chain leaders - proactively shaping priorities, problem statements, and digital roadmaps to ensure technology investments align with business objectives.
  • Own and advance the digital strategy for core supply chain platforms such as Kinaxis (planning), Ariba (supplier collaboration), Workspace (Procurement workflows), SOS360 (property & logistics mgmt.), and Net‑Inspect/ETQ (supplier quality), ensuring these solutions align with business priorities and deliver increasing operational value.

Digital Solution Delivery

  • Lead teams responsible for designing, building, and integrating digital solutions that enhance supply chain performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee delivery of capabilities such as:
  • Improved long-range demand/MRP planning models that increase forecast accuracy and schedule executability
  • Supplier capacity and constraint modeling to enable performance insights and priority-setting to improve supplier performance
  • Buyer task automation that increases efficiency 30%+ and improves PR→PO throughput
  • Compliance workflows that reduce process escapes and strengthen audit-readiness
  • Digitized logistics processes supporting efficient value-added services and 3PL expansion
  • Ensure solutions follow enterprise standards, support scalability, and integrate effectively with ERP, PLM, MES, and other enterprise platforms.

Team & Organizational Development

  • Lead, grow, and develop a team of leaders responsible for digital strategy and product/solution delivery across supply chain domains.
  • Grow organizational capabilities in portfolio mgmt., product mgmt., digital strategy, and AI and agentic solutions.
  • Foster a culture focused on outcomes, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage budget, resource planning, and workforce strategy across internal teams and partner ecosystem.

Value Realization & Portfolio Governance

  • Establish transparent strategies, roadmaps, KPIs, and performance metrics to drive alignment and track value delivered.
  • Improve adoption of digital solutions to maximize business outcomes such as forecast accuracy, reduced cycle times, throughput gains, process compliance, and on-time delivery.
  • Govern portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, and financial oversight with a value-driven, strategy-aligned approach.
  • Drive continuous alignment between DT roadmaps, enterprise architecture, and supply chain transformation priorities.
  • Measure and report on director-level KPIs such as PO cycle time, plan stability, automation-driven labor savings, ROI, and time-to-value for supply chain products.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with leaders across Supply Chain, DT, Enterprise Services, and PST.
  • Influence priorities across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Program organizations to ensure integrated, cross-functional solution design and deployment.
  • Lead change management strategies that accelerate adoption and ensure behavioral, process, and capability changes take hold across the organization.
  • Represent the digital supply chain portfolio in leadership forums, planning cycles, and business reviews.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience

  • Experience leading digital, product, or technology teams supporting supply chain functions (planning, sourcing, procurement, logistics, property mgmt.).
  • Experience defining and delivering digital transformation strategies at scale.
  • Experience with supply chain processes, planning systems, automation technologies, and data ecosystems.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to translate business needs into solution architectures and actionable plans.
  • Strong leadership capability and experience developing technical teams.
  • Effective communication skills across executive, operational, and technical audiences.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP platforms, supply chain solutions, workflow automation, and data analytics.

  • Experience leading organizations through major modernization or transformation initiatives.

  • Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
