About The Role

As the Director of Strategy & Planning, you will lead a high-impact team responsible for defining and executing strategic initiatives that drive company growth and operational excellence. Reporting to the SVP of Strategy, you will partner with executive leadership to shape the strategic roadmap of the company, lead market expansion efforts, and oversee strategic client initiatives. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires strong business judgment, client engagement, leadership experience, and a bias for action.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Initiatives Development and Execution:

• Drive the identification, development, and execution of high-impact strategic initiatives aligned with company priorities.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams from strategy through execution, ensuring accountability, velocity, and measurable outcomes.
• Provide strategic thought partnership to the SVP of Strategy and executive team, shaping company priorities and long-term direction.
• Manage and a team of strategy managers and associates, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

AI Transformation Strategy:

• Partner directly with senior client executives to develop AI-driven transformation strategies for their operations.
• Deliver tailored recommendations grounded in client data and business objectives. 
• Work closely with client teams to operationalize change.

New Market and Product Expansion:

• Own strategy for new market entries and product launches, including market analysis, go-to-market strategy, and cross-functional execution.
• Serve as the strategic lead across Product, Engineering, and GTM to ensure alignment and drive successful launch outcomes.
• Monitor evolving market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic pivots and opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in both management consulting and high growth startup environments required. 
• 9-10 years of experience in strategy consulting and business operations or transformation.
• Proven leadership experience, with a strong ability to manage and develop teams.
• Executive presence and excellent communication skills; able to influence stakeholders across all levels.
• Ability to work in-person at our NYC headquarters 4-5 days a week.

Job Compensation Range:

The salary range for this role is $250,000 - $300,000. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation is determined based on a number of factors including experience, skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process.
