Position Description and Purpose:

Key Essential Functions/Duties:
- Develop and execute procurement strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead and manage the purchasing team, including buyers and procurement specialists.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to ensure competitive advantage.
- Implement procurement best practices, policies, and systems to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Lead supplier relationship management and contract negotiations
- Oversee Source-to-Pay processes and procurement governance
- Drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and financial performance
- Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support operations and growth
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and procurement tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
