F5 is seeking a Director, Strategic Cloud Sales to lead and expand strategic relationships with North America hyperscalers and NeoCloud AI companies. This role will drive revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives focused on cloud platforms, AI infrastructure, and large-scale data center environments.
The ideal candidate brings deep enterprise technology sales experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record engaging senior stakeholders within hyperscale cloud providers and emerging AI infrastructure companies. This leader will guide strategic account planning, mentor high-performing sales professionals, and collaborate cross-functionally across F5 to deliver solutions that support the rapidly evolving AI and cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic cloud sales initiatives targeting North America hyperscalers and NeoCloud AI companies.
Develop and execute account strategies that drive adoption of F5 solutions within hyperscale cloud and AI infrastructure environments.
Guide, mentor, and support senior account managers and strategic sellers focused on complex cloud infrastructure accounts.
Own and drive complex enterprise sales cycles including executive engagement, solution positioning, negotiations, and closing high-value deals.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive and technical stakeholders across hyperscaler and NeoCloud organizations.
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, marketing, and sales engineering teams to align solutions with evolving cloud and AI infrastructure requirements.
Lead cross-functional initiatives across F5 to address large-scale customer challenges and support long-term strategic partnerships.
Analyze market trends across cloud platforms, AI infrastructure, and hyperscale data centers to identify new growth opportunities.
Provide strategic insights to leadership regarding competitive positioning and emerging technologies within the cloud and AI ecosystem.
Drive performance against quarterly and annual revenue targets while ensuring strong execution of strategic account plans.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, including leadership or strategic account roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven track record of selling into hyperscalers, cloud providers, or large-scale infrastructure companies.
Experience engaging North America cloud platform providers or NeoCloud AI companies.
Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, hyperscale data center architectures, and enterprise networking technologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex enterprise sales cycles and guide strategic customer engagements.
Strong executive presence with experience influencing C-level and senior technical stakeholders.
Expertise in complex negotiations, solution selling, and strategic account development.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling both software and hardware solutions within cloud or AI infrastructure environments.
Technical background in cloud infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, networking, or data center technologies.
Established relationships within the North America hyperscaler or NeoCloud AI ecosystem.

The annual base pay for this position is: $165,600.00 - $248,400.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business.
