We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director, Software Quality Assurance to lead and drive the quality efforts for our AI, Health and data center product lines in our newly developed Vietnam Research and Design Center. This role is responsible for ensuring best-in-class software quality through test automation, code coverage, and real-world use cases across a complex and evolving ecosystem.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software quality, leadership experience leading teams in Vietnam, and a passion for innovation in testing methodologies and automation frameworks.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Build a team in Vietnam from the ground up, including recruiting, hiring, and onboarding top software quality talent to expand NVIDIA's global footprint

  • Define and drive software quality assurance strategies, with a focus on automation, reliability, and performance testing for AI, Health and data center solutions.

  • Develop and enhance test automation frameworks to increase efficiency, test coverage, and continuous integration.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to define quality goals, requirements, and real-world validation use cases.

  • Establish and monitor key quality metrics, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements.

  • Mentor and develop talent within the organization, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

  • Drive early engagement in the product development cycle, ensuring quality is embedded in design, architecture, and implementation phases

  • Develop and deploy standard processes for large-scale, distributed system testing, encompassing stress, scale, failover, and resiliency testing.

  • Ensure security and compliance testing aligns with industry standards for cloud and data center products.

  • Champion continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) practices, integrating testing into the development pipeline

 

What we need to see:

  • PHD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience and 12+ overall years of experience

  • 6+ years of leadership experience in driving strategic initiatives and fostering high-performing software quality assurance teams

  • Proven track record in building and scaling global teams, including setting up new locations and hiring top talent

  • Expertise in test automation, code coverage, and performance testing for large-scale, distributed systems

  • Deep knowledge of AI, Healthcare, cloud platforms, and data center technologies.

  • Strong programming and scripting skills for automation (Python, C++, etc.).
