We're looking for a high-energy technology leader to drive the evolution of our core agent/broker technology suite. Our industry partners use our unique tools and insights to connect with consumers and assist them with navigating the challenges of finding a home. Our web and mobile technology solutions work across the span of the home buying, selling, and renting journey.
In this role, you will be responsible for advancing our agent & broker technology, tools, and data to solve key consumer and customer pain points. You will also set technical direction across multiple teams as we shape our core technology to best serve our business and customers. We're seeking leaders who are passionate about both technology and people, and strive to nurture high-performing teams to deliver cutting-edge products that make a real impact for our customers.
What you’ll do:
- You will guide teams to deliver innovation to our technology that enhances our product suite for our agent-broker customers
- You will manage day-to-day operations around your product suite including coordinating delivery and maintaining consistent product quality.
- You will drive engineering excellence through process, tooling, training, and documentation.
- You will help set the vision for our next generation of technology supporting our agent & broker products and steer multi-year strategy to achieve that vision
- You will build a high-performing culture built on trust, collaboration, goal attainment, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years experience delivering web and mobile solutions and leading engineering teams to goals
- Strong leadership skills and experience hiring and motivating high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners
- Strong ability to coach and mentor other engineering leaders
- Strong software engineering instincts: meaningful and deeply rooted opinions about sound architecture, code quality, and testing.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment and excel under pressure, with experience working on sophisticated, large-scale, time-critical projects.
- A driven and data-informed product development approach.
