We’re seeking a Director of Software Architecture to:

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and senior management to ensure strategic alignment, effectively planning and supporting our business needs and architectural requirements.
  • Lead the Tech Leaders Guild and the Solutions Architects team, overseeing the design and review of software architecture while providing support across all software development efforts.
  • Continuously research and integrate new technologies, implementing industry standards and best practices in software and application design and coding.
  • Ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality, security, scalability, modifiability, and extensibility.

Requirements

Here’s what we need from you:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a leading software architect in SaaS/Cloud environments.
  • A minimum of 10 years in software development.
  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining large-scale applications.
  • Expertise in designing data models for both NoSQL and relational databases.
  • Demonstrated experience in building performant RESTful APIs at scale for public/internal use.
  • Experience in designing and building high-scale distributed backend systems for SaaS products.
  • Ability to lead and support both internal and external teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (preferred).
  • Understanding of Machine Learning and Applied Research (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud-native architecture.
  • Proficiency in a range of technologies: .Net, Node.js, Golang, Python, JavaScript, React, Redux, Databricks, Databases NoSQL and relational databases.
  • Strong command of OOP, REST APIs, event-driven architectures, microservices, and other software engineering concepts.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Solid experience with modern Agile practices (Iterative development, CI/CD, TDD, etc.).
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
