Copper River Information Technology is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of SLED Sales to plan and implement Commercial sales programs, both short and long term, targeted toward existing and new markets or verticals by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates
- We are a seeking an experienced and motivated Director of SLED Sales to plan and implement Commercial sales programs, both short and long term, targeted toward existing and new markets or verticals by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates
- Coordinate between sales department and other sales related units including BD, Engineering and PMO
- Prepare regular sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline (IT, Engineering, Science) or Business preferred
Required Knowledge/Experience
- Minimum of eight years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities in the SLED market
- Knowledge of Federal acquisition strategies and processes
- Demonstrated experience developing and growing relationships with OEM partners at the management level
- History of creating customer solutions including OEM partners, industry partners and internal company resources to solve new or unique solutions Demonstrate in-depth sales techniques and financial principles. Ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers
- Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
- Perform each essential duty satisfactorily using the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
Preferred Knowledge
- Understanding of the SBA 8(a) program, experience working with 8(a) companies preferred
