The Role

As Director, Shareholder Reporting, Registration Statement Production, you’ll lead a dedicated team responsible for preparing and delivering critical registration statements and shareholder filings for Fidelity’s U.S. mutual funds, ETFs, and closed-end products. These include prospectuses, statements of additional information, and more—ensuring compliance with evolving securities laws.

In this role, you will:

  • Inspire and guide a team to deliver high-quality, time-sensitive regulatory documents.
  • Champion process improvements by implementing controls and identifying automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data, systems, audit firms, and legal teams to optimize workflows and reduce risk.
  • Develop talent, encouraging accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of financial services experience with a mutual fund operation, custodian bank or asset manager with a focus on legal and financial regulatory filings
  • 8+ years of management experience including leading people and teams
  • Ability to identify and drive forward ways to improve current processes
  • Understanding of risk frameworks and ability to design and lead processes ensuring a strong control environment
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and influence high impact decisions quickly and accurately
  • Strong understanding of workflows and requirements of internal and external business partners and systems applications
  • Experience with helping to define and understand the environmental impacts of initiatives to anticipate and coordinate operational readiness
  • Ability to analyze dashboards and metrics to tell a data-driven story and make operational insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation capability

The Team

In Shareholder Reporting, we’re on a mission to deliver SMART, SIMPLE and SCALABLE shareholder reporting solutions while cultivating our talent. Our team is part of the Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) organization. In fact, we’re the largest service line within FFIO and are responsible for producing and distributing financial statements, prospectuses, and other fund and legal documents to our customers and filing them with the SEC. Doing this in the smartest and most effective way is more important than ever as we are in the midst of implementing Fidelity’s new and alternative investment products, new and changing regulations, and a brand new technology platform that will transform the way we work.
