Lead the Next Phase of Growth for Landmark in Scotland
We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded leader to join Landmark as our Director of Scotland. This is a unique opportunity to shape Scotland's next growth platform, building on the strong heritage of Millar & Bryce while driving expansion across land, infrastructure, geospatial and location intelligence markets.
Reporting to the CEO, you'll have full accountability for the performance of our Scotland division, leading strategic growth initiatives, influencing Group-wide priorities, and ensuring the business remains agile, competitive and customer-focused.
What You'll Be Doing
As the Director of Scotland, you will:
- Define and deliver a Scotland-focused business strategy aligned to Landmark's growth ambitions.
- Drive growth across land, infrastructure, commercial real estate, rural land, renewables, planning and geospatial markets.
- Build and develop high-value propositions that combine Scottish market expertise with wider Landmark Group capabilities.
- Lead and inspire the Scotland leadership team, creating a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Hold full P&L accountability, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and effective cost management.
- Influence Product, DTS, Geo, Solutions and Legal/Search roadmaps to ensure Scottish customer requirements are embedded within Group priorities.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, partners, industry stakeholders and public-sector organisations across Scotland.
- Champion innovation, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance products, services and customer outcomes.
About You
We're seeking an accomplished senior leader with:
- Significant experience leading a business, division or commercial function of comparable scale.
- A proven track record of driving commercial growth, developing new propositions and creating qualified market opportunities.
- Strong strategic, financial and operational leadership skills, including P&L responsibility.
- Experience within Scotland's land, infrastructure, geospatial, commercial real estate, renewables, rural land or related markets.
- The ability to influence across a matrix organisation and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- A collaborative leadership style that brings people together while delivering results.
- A passion for innovation, customer success and creating long-term value.
The Interview Process
- Screening video call via Microsoft Teams with our external agency partner, Livingston James, who are handling this search assignment.
- Personality questionnaire.
- In-person interview at the Edinburgh office with the CEO and Chief People Officer. This stage includes a presentation.
- Final stage to include meeting with the Millar & Bryce senior leadership team
