As an Airline Sales Director for Latin America within our Commercial Engine Services (CES) business, you’ll lead sales strategy development and execution for commercial engine MRO opportunities across the Americas, including LEAP, CFM56, CF34, and other engines, with a focus on the Latin America market. You’ll represent a $3B business unit and build relationships with some of the world’s largest airlines, cargo operators, and lessors.

Serving as the face of StandardAero, you’ll interface with airline customers at all levels, represent our business interests to customers and customer interests within the business, and lead cross-functional bid teams to develop tailored, creative solutions for complex opportunities that can exceed $500M in revenue, with frequent interaction with our leadership team.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the VP Sales for the Americas, SVP Sales, Marketing & Customers, and Business Unit VP/GMs to develop and execute sales and campaign strategies that differentiate StandardAero in the marketplace and position us to win strategic opportunities across the Latin America region.
  • Serve as a senior customer-facing representative of StandardAero with high-profile global airlines, cargo operators, and lessors, strengthening relationships and representing the company’s brand promise as “the trusted service partner.”
  • Manage assigned customer relationships and account strategies, including sales forecasting, achieving sales objectives, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring alignment with customer and business needs.
  • Lead complex sales campaigns from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and close, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders and governance requirements.
  • Leverage consultative selling and active listening to understand customer requirements, business needs, competitive dynamics, and campaign value drivers, translating those insights into tailored solutions and compelling proposals.
  • Develop creative, differentiated solutions for complex commercial engine MRO opportunities, including transactions that may exceed $500M in revenue, while balancing customer requirements, commercial objectives, and internal business considerations.
  • Lead negotiations and deal strategy, anticipating customer perspectives, organizational dynamics, competing interests, and potential responses to proposals while ensuring appropriate internal alignment, approvals, and governance.
  • Support customer engagement activities, including customer events, conferences, tradeshows, executive meetings, and other activities that strengthen relationships and support business development.
  • Represent customer interests internally and business interests externally, partnering across Sales, Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and other functions to deliver solutions that meet customer expectations and support a superior customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of customer-facing experience, including direct experience in aerospace sales.
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategies for complex, high-value opportunities, including evaluating multiple approaches to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority, including managing competing priorities and resolving issues to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience in sales planning, opportunity analysis, negotiation, business decision-making, and written and verbal communication.
  • Working knowledge of the turbofan engine market, including commercial engine products and/or related services.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or a comparable Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage customer relationships and sales opportunities.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Desired Skills

  • Experience selling commercial engine MRO services or related aviation services to airlines, cargo operators, lessors, or other commercial aviation customers.
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills preferred, but not required.
