Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Commercial Planning
- Annual Sales & Marketing Plan: Architect and execute the hotel’s annual Sales & Marketing plan, mapping out target segments, feeder markets, and deployment strategies.
- Pricing & Yield Strategy: Partner closely with the Director of Revenue Management and Director of Marketing to establish competitive pricing, group ceilings, and promotional strategies that maximize RGI (Revenue Generation Index).
- Budget Administration: Formulate and manage the annual departmental operating budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources for sales trips, trade shows, and client entertainment.
- Market Positioning: Continually monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators to agilely pivot sales tactics and capture emerging business.
- High-Value VIP Accounts: Personally manage high-yield global accounts, major consortia partnerships, and key destination management companies (DMCs).
- Top-Tier Networking: Maintain a high profile within the hospitality industry by representing the hotel at premier international trade shows (e.g., ILTM, Virtuoso, IMEX), corporate roadshows, and local luxury networks.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Ensure a flawless workflow between Sales, Revenue, Digital Marketing, and Operations to safeguard the customer journey from initial inquiry through to event execution.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive sales leadership experience within premium or luxury hospitality, including at least 2–3 years in a senior sales management role (e.g., Assistant DOS or Senior Sales Manager).
