Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift
Position Location: This position is remote (Hampton Roads).
Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).
Minimum Requirements:
- Business Acumen, Customer Relations, Employee benefits, and Leadership experience required.

Expectations for this Role:
Sentara Health is seeking a Director, Sales – Small to Mid-Size Employers. This director requires an effective influencer capable of developing credible business relationships inside & outside the organization while providing leadership, direction & management for all direct reports.
-Achieve estimated Growth, Retention, Profitability & Strategy Engagement object.
-Utilize leading & lagging indicators to measure performance to goal, identifying opportunities to affect performance & manage membership forecasting, projection & budget processes.
-Cultivate relationships with key influencers & decision makers affecting small group and mid-market business segment results.
-Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate & engage targeted audience including executives, brokers, general agents & benefit professionals.
-Create opportunities to connect Sentara Health's senior leaders as appropriate.
-Develop & manage strategic growth plan to include segment & territory specific opportunity profiles, segment value proposition & benchmarking of competitor capabilities.
-Provide competitive information & voice of the customer input to business leads as appropriate for enhancements to current strategies & offerings.
-Effectively articulate how Sentara Health's capabilities can contribute to constituent's long-term strategies.
