WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Director, Sales Operations drives strategic sales initiatives for their assigned region and optimizes Relation’s sales processes to achieve and exceed organizational goals. The individual in this position leads the development and execution of sales strategies, fosters producer success, and ensures alignment with the company’s overall objectives.  The Director, Sales Operations will oversee the deployment of sales tools and technologies, with a strong emphasis on leveraging Salesforce and related platforms to enhance Relation’s sales capabilities.

A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY

  • Develops and implements comprehensive sales strategies, leveraging technology to align with organizational goals and drive sustainable growth.
  • Leads and mentors team members, providing guidance, professional development, and growth opportunities.
  • Conducts in-depth analysis of Relation’s sales processes to identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and improved performance.
  • Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) for lead conversion, funnel management, and customer experience, presenting actionable insights to the executive team.
  • Collaborates with the Information Technology department and other stakeholders to evaluate, select, and oversee the deployment of advanced sales tools and technologies, ensuring optimal ROI and successful adoption.
  • Serves as the strategic champion for high-priority sales-related technology initiatives, driving their implementation and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Fosters a collaborative environment to enhance cross-functional initiatives and strengthen the company’s cross-selling processes.
  • Oversees training programs to ensure sales teams are proficient in using support tools and systems.
  • Ensures compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards in all aspects of sales operations.
  • Performs other projects, duties, and tasks, as assigned.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Four year degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales operations, enablement, or a related field.
  • Insurance Industry experience, particularly with a brokerage highly preferred.
  • Certification in Sales Management or related desirable.
  • Expert level proficiency with Salesforce, including a proven track record of maximizing ROI on enterprise CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, methodologies, and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the professional credibility to engage and influence at the executive level.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new software applications.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
