Are you driven by the insurance industry and eager to contribute to the purpose of a company that aims to help its clients feel confident and secure about their future? As a Director of Sales – Individual Insurance, you will play a key role in promoting iA Life Insurance products and services through the Brokerage Network, while building and strengthening business relationships with Independent Financial Advisors, MGA administration teams, and advisor office staff to support business growth and client success. What you’ll accomplish with us 
 
As a Director of Sales – Individual Insurance, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities: 

  • Deliver training to advisors on iA life insurance products, sales concepts and illustration software. 

  • Developing a Marketing Plan for their regions with MGA’s  particularly for the delivery of product and software knowledge to advisors.  

  • Solicit new business and re-establish contact with advisors. 

  • Maintain regular contact with top, past and future Advisors. 

  • Creating and revising presentations using Power Point software. 

  • Responding to inquiries through telephone, email, written correspondence, or in person, in a timely and professional manner. 

  • Attendance at planned conferences, road shows, presentations, and organized events for supporters during evening and weekend hours, as required.

  • Has experience in the insurance industry/ brokerage environment. 

  • Holds a Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma.   

  • Ability to communicate fluently in Mandarin (asset).

The typical hiring range for this position is between 105 000$ and 155 000$CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role. At iA, we are committed to offering a fair, equitable, and market-based compensation structure. Our market data is updated annually to reflect the most current market conditions.
