Job Description:

Provides system strategic, programmatic and team leadership in the areas of patient safety, quality and experience. Provides direct leadership for the strategists in the aforementioned teams and the safety, quality & experience team dedicated to Allina Health’s Clinical Program Council structure and strategy.
Principle Responsibilities

  • Creates alignment among business unit teams in functional areas.
    • Creates alignment in program and team structure among business units.
    • Implements priorities and function(s) for the patient safety, quality & experience teams.
    • Determines and implements the strategic vision for the department and function(s).
    • Develops and is accountable for function(s) budget.
    • Oversees system managers and strategists for functional areas, and supports onboarding education for teams systemwide.
  • Implements and evaluates strategic plans for functional areas.
    • Collaborates with senior leaders and market teams to implement and evaluate respective strategic plan.
    • Advises on policies and procedures to support the system wide safety culture.
    • Leads implementation and development of software systems that support policies, error reporting, action planning and risk.
  • Leads and aligns safety & quality teams in functional areas.
    • Implements programmatic planning and project coordination to align with strategic vision and objectives of the organization.
    • Oversees the allocation of resources and staffing for system teams, action plans and issue resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Health Care Administration, Engineering or other health care related field
  • 5 to 7 years quality experience in a health care environment
  • 5 to 7 years health care management experience in quality management and/or quality improvement
  • 3 to 5 years successful record of effective safety & quality team leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in in Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Health Care Administration, Engineering or other health care related field

Pay Range

Pay Range: $66.09 to $91.44 per hour

The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience and education. Additional incentives may be available, including discretionary monetary bonuses, goal-based bonuses, and other financial incentives.
