INTRODUCTION 

ABC is looking for a systems-driven analytics leader to join our Revenue Operations team as the Director, Data Intelligence. Reporting to the VP Revenue Operations, this net new role is foundational in building ABC’s data analytics Center of Excellence.

This leader will design and govern our commercial data model, own the data warehouse, define company-wide metrics, enable predictive intelligence across the GTM funnel, and support cross-functional partners with accurate, actionable insights. As a player-coach, they will formalize data governance and stewardship, define Ideal Client Profiles and segmentation models, and build scalable reporting infrastructure that empowers GTM, Finance, Strategy, and Product leaders to execute with clarity and confidence.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Build and lead ABC’s data analytics Center of Excellence, enabling self-service insights and scalable reporting.

  • Architect and govern ABC’s commercial and corporate data model across Salesforce, product systems, marketing tools, and finance systems.

  • Lead data governance, stewardship, and hygiene standards across the GTM lifecycle.

  • Own and provide architectural oversight of ABC’s commercial data warehouse, partnering closely with data engineers to maintain scalable infrastructure.

  • Define and maintain company-wide metric definitions; align metrics across Revenue, Finance, Product, and Marketing teams.

  • Design and execute data enrichment strategies, including evaluating third-party data providers and integrating external sources into the GTM ecosystem.

  • Build and manage scalable reporting and BI dashboards in Microsoft Power BI (primary), with strong familiarity in Tableau or similar tools.

  • Develop Ideal Client Profiles (ICPs), segmentation models, and behavioral targeting frameworks.

  • Operationalize predictive models for conversion, churn risk, pipeline health, and lead prioritization.

  • Drive analytic enablement programs to increase data literacy and promote self-service across the organization.

  • Define and deliver measurable improvements in data quality, reporting efficiency, pipeline predictability, and insight adoption.

  • Partner with RevTech to ensure models and insights are surfaced in systems like Salesforce.

  • Support quarterly business reviews, long-range planning, and strategic decision-making with executive-ready insights.

  • Build and lead a small distributed team of analysts while serving as the center of excellence for analytics at ABC.

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, CS, Product, Finance, and Strategy teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 10–15+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or data science—ideally across both GTM and enterprise functions.

  • Strong SQL and data modeling expertise; experienced in building scalable BI dashboards.

  • Deep knowledge of GTM funnels, ICP development, and commercial analytics.

  • Experience leading data governance, enrichment, and stewardship programs, including third-party data integration and hygiene automation.

  • Experience owning and scaling a data warehouse, with architectural oversight and engineering team partnership.

  • Proven success building centralized reporting functions and analytical COEs from the ground up.

  • Strong track record in defining, aligning, and maintaining company-wide metric standards.

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and building systems and process structure at scale.

  • Strong business acumen and communication skills—able to translate data into insight and action.

  • Growth mindset, builder orientation, and a passion for system thinking.

AND IT'S GREAT TO HAVE

  • Experience leading analytics in a high-growth SaaS or digital GTM environment.

  • Familiarity with integrating data from Salesforce, marketing platforms, enrichment providers, and product usage systems.

  • Track record of operationalizing predictive models into GTM systems.

  • Prior success aligning commercial analytics to long-range planning and strategic decisions.

  • Experience scaling an analytics team or COE across time zones and business functions.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only and based on employees in USA and may be different in other countries. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and location, as well as market and business considerations. Our pay range for USA based candidates for this position is $170,000 -- $190,000USD annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
