Job Title: Interim Director – Revenue Cycle / Epic Implementation Support

The Wilshire Group is seeking an experienced Interim Director – Revenue Cycle / Epic Implementation Support to serve as a strategic connector between operational stakeholders and Epic IT teams. This role will provide interim leadership within the Internal Business Consultant group, ensuring that Epic system updates are translated into actionable, value-driven operational enhancements. The successful candidate will oversee Epic feature rollouts, guide a team of project managers, and support the seamless integration of technology with frontline business and clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities:Provide interim, director-level leadership within the Internal Business Consultant team.
Act as the primary liaison between Revenue Cycle, Ambulatory Operations, and Epic IT teams.
Lead and manage the deployment of Epic core functionalities, including:
Online scheduling modules
Dashboards and visual analytics components
Slicer Dicer tools and self-service reporting
Translate Epic technical capabilities into clear, operational workflow improvements.
Oversee and mentor a team of project managers driving system adoption and optimization.
Ensure projects align with organizational goals, timelines, and regulatory standards.
Utilize Epic UserWeb and related tools to stay informed on system updates, tips, and best practices.
Proven senior-level leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations and Epic implementation.
Extensive Epic system expertise, including certification(s) in key modules (preferred).
Demonstrated success in Epic implementation, optimization, and adoption strategies.
Strong ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, including IT, clinical, and business units.
Excellent communication, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Adept at managing teams, prioritizing initiatives, and delivering measurable results.
- Must have a Bachelor degree or higher
