Quality Director, Europe
Location: Flexible within Europe (preferred: Sweden, Poland, Italy, Netherlands, UK, or Germany)

We are now hiring a Quality Director for Europe to lead and evolve our regional quality strategy. This senior-level role will oversee a geographically dispersed team and drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and a strong culture of continuous improvement.
Key Challenges
Strategic Leadership and Quality Oversight
- Lead and develop a team of regional and site-level quality professionals.
- Define and execute quality strategies aligned with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Ensure readiness for audits and certifications, maintaining robust quality systems.
Cross-Functional Influence
- Work across manufacturing, R&D, customer service, and supply chain teams to embed quality into core processes.
- Collaborate effectively within a matrix structure, influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Act as a key contact for external certification and audit bodies.
Performance and Continuous Improvement
- Lead change initiatives and drive system improvements across the region.
- Monitor and report on quality KPIs, including right-first-time and complaint resolution metrics.
- Promote accountability and transparency through effective communication and reporting.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in quality management, production, or supply chain, with significant leadership responsibility.
- Experience managing direct reports and leading multi-site quality teams.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9001).
- Proven ability to lead in matrix organizations and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Strong change management capabilities and a results-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills and managerial courage.
- Experience in chemical, medical device, or related regulated industries is preferred.
- Willingness to travel across Europe as needed.
