What will you be doing?
A Director of Regional Operations leads a team of Order Management, Procurement and Production Planning Associate that are accountable for the execution of strategic operational objectives. Reporting to a senior director within Global Order Operations, an individual in this role is responsible for executing strategies, policies and procedures that optimize value and create a world class order management organization. This person also takes overall accountability for operational excellence, customer delight and developing leaders within the global operation functions.
While this role carries strategic accountabilities, the individual is expected to be operationally embedded — working hands-on alongside the Purchasing and Order Management teams to drive daily execution, resolve complex issues and develop operational capability within the supply chain function.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations of the purchasing and order management team, providing hands-on guidance to supervisors and team members on workflows, complex issues, and escalations.
- Serve as subject matter expert on purchasing and order management processes, delivering training, coaching, and consistent standards across the team.
- Monitor team KPIs and SLAs, driving accountability, identifying performance gaps, and establishing goals aligned to corporate strategy — including stretch targets.
- Mentor and develop the leadership team on policies, procedures, and best practices, fostering a high-performance culture and professional growth.
- Support and execute global supply chain strategies to optimize value, advance operational excellence, and deliver customer delight across WWT Supply Chain.
- Lead strategic thought leadership across functions, communicating clear expectations and driving cross-functional accountability and organizational consistency.
- Identify and implement scaling opportunities using industry best practices, improving communication structures, responsibility allocation, and long-term capability and resource planning.
- Champion AI-enabled transformation initiatives to automate repetitive processes, eliminate non-value-added work, and empower the team to operate at a higher strategic capacity.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Master’s degree in any related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of supply chain related experience in a complex manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience, which includes the management of direct reports
- Possess demonstrated working experience with global US MNC based company
- Experience interacting with regional stakeholders and cross-functional teams
