Cordial Health is seeking a Director of Recruiting & Lead Recruiter to lead our in-house recruiting efforts from our Brooklyn office.

This is a hands-on leadership position. We are looking for someone who can manage and develop a recruiting team while also personally sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing strong candidates.

You will take ownership of the recruiting pipeline, work directly with company leadership on hiring priorities, and ensure open positions are moving forward consistently and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and oversee the in-house recruiting team
  • Personally recruit and manage candidates from initial sourcing through offer
  • Develop and improve sourcing strategies across Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels
  • Conduct candidate screenings and interviews
  • Manage multiple open positions and hiring priorities
  • Monitor recruiter activity, pipelines, follow-ups, and results
  • Ensure candidates receive consistent and timely communication
  • Identify recruiting bottlenecks and implement solutions
  • Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate records in the ATS
  • Work directly with leadership to understand current and upcoming hiring needs
  • Build strong candidate pipelines for difficult-to-fill positions
  • Help improve recruiting systems, processes, and overall team performance

This position is ideal for an experienced recruiter who wants ownership of the recruiting function but still enjoys being directly involved in finding and hiring great people.



Requirements
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience preferred
  • Strong full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Proven ability to source and attract candidates, not simply review inbound applications
  • Experience leading, managing, or mentoring recruiters
  • Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up
  • Ability to manage multiple positions and priorities simultaneously
  • Results-driven and comfortable being accountable for hiring goals
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing organization
  • Healthcare recruiting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with Indeed, LinkedIn, Zoho Recruit, or similar ATS platforms preferred
  • Must be able to work full-time, in person at our Brooklyn office
