Job Summary
A Director, R&D EPMO role is available at one of the leading flavors, food ingredients, scent, and health and bioscience companies in the world! In this role, you will support the SVP, R&D by managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple innovation projects. You will ensure adherence to the Business Excellence stage-gate process and drive projects from initiation to market launch. - Be responsible for the end-to-end project delivery of multiple innovation initiatives in accordance to the Business Excellence stage-gate process. - Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and track project plan and metrics of complex innovation projects across I,C & D
- Prioritize innovation and key commercial projects and resources, recognize interdependencies, remove barriers, tackle technical hurdles and bring products to the market
- Manage division wide projects as a community manager, socializing the launch and benefits
- Concurrently manage numerous programs, projects, and cross-functional initiatives
- Facilitate project status meetings, capture meeting minutes, reports status to innovation and technical leaders, sponsors and stakeholders.
- Manage traceability of innovation projects: documentation, project history and organizational knowledge.
- Develop and utilize centralized methodologies, tools, templates for reporting and reducing bureaucracy. -
- Conduct multiple financial analyses for decision making.
- Create high quality visually compelling metrics reports, including revenue, adoption (pipeline & submission).
- Utilize business acumen to derive insights, apply the right visual elements that complements content and provide right oversight to guide business on technology uptake.
- Create & maintain communication documents for project status, project documentation to internal business and technical project stakeholders - Draft PowerPoints with an excellent grasp of design elements to create visually appealing material directed towards senior and executive leadership.
- Maintain excellent communication both vertically and horizontally within organization, e.g project leads and members, sponsors and stakeholders within and across organization to ensure smooth running of the Innovation projects. -
- Ensure alignment of initiatives, liaise and actively collaborate with stakeholders in cross-functional teams and drive results to maintain project delivery.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline with 7+ years of experience in a in a science and business discipline
- Proven track record of innovation in industry or academic
- Excellent communication skills, ability to manage through complex situations
- international experience or culture would be preferred
- Ability to make quick decisions, based on fact
- Excellent internal/external presentation skills to clients
- Ability to accept and lead change
- Strong leader yet humble
Must reside near one of our R&D hubs or be willing to relocate to a designated R&D location.
Compensation ($145,000 - $186,000) is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
