As Director, Public Relations and Advertising, you will lead our paid and earned media efforts across PR and advertising. This role will focus on growing brand visibility, driving qualified leads, and increasing revenue across all segments through strong media partnerships and effective campaigns.

In This Role

  • Develop and lead brand awareness strategies across PR, social media, and advertising in collaboration with the VP of Marketing and key stakeholders 
  • Manage relationships with external PR and media agencies, guiding messaging and optimizing campaigns to meet business objectives 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, design influencers, media professionals, and other industry influences to  enhance brand visibility and engagement
  • Create and implement demand-driving strategies to accelerate growth in customer applications and revenue across all customer segments
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including Customer Experience, Sales, Product Development, Creative, and Merchandising—to align marketing efforts with business goals 
  • Monitor key performance indicators, maintain dashboards, and recommend new initiatives based on data and insights 
  • Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead and mentor team to align with Four Hands’ strategic objectives 
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, encouraging the sharing of ideas and best practices to drive innovation and successful implementation of digital solutions  
  • Foster individual growth and skill enhancement through regular feedback, training sessions, and professional development opportunities 
  • Collaboratively establish clear, measurable goals for the team that align with broader organizational objectives, ensuring accountability and focus 
  • Monitor progress towards goals through regular check-ins and performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help the team achieve their targets 
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to analyze performance outcomes, identify areas for enhancement, and propose innovative solutions to overcome challenges 
  • Develop and manage the department’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with business priorities 
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental and organizational objectives 
  • Evaluate industry trends and leverage insights to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to facilitate collaboration and alignment 

The Ideal Person

  • 15+ year’s experience in marketing, focusing on traditional and digital advertising, growth marketing, social media and public relations
  • Experience managing public relations and advertising programs held to full funnel KPIs
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience in a relevant field 
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office suite 
  • Ability to lead growth-oriented marketing programs
  • Presentation and communication skills, with ability to develop marketing strategies and performance measurement
  • Understanding of advertising, social media and PR principles along with marketing analytics and ability to track program performance 
  • Ability to manage schedules and deadlines ensuring work product meets or exceeds brand standards 
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and take initiatives to resolve issues to avoid escalation
