ABOUT THE ROLE
The Provider Sales Director will play a critical role in PatientIQ’s growth strategy by leading and managing a team of highly skilled Account Executives and Enterprise Account Executives (6 today with planned team growth). This position requires a seasoned sales leader with a strong background in enterprise software sales, particularly in the healthcare technology sector. The Director will be responsible for forecasting, developing and executing sales strategies, onboarding and coaching the sales team, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets across the United States.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Account Executives and Enterprise Account Executives to ensure high performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with PatientIQ’s overall business objectives.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the development and management of a robust sales pipeline, ensuring that the team meets and exceeds sales targets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor team performance metrics, providing feedback, coaching, and support to ensure success.
  • Client Relationship Management: Support Account Executives in building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within prospective and existing client organizations.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Sales Operations to optimize sales processes and outcomes.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closure: Guide the team in navigating complex negotiations and decision-making processes to close new business opportunities effectively.
  • Forecasting, Reporting and Analytics: Maintain an updated revenue forecast, regular reports on team performance, market trends, and other key metrics to Vice President of Sales.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Extensive experience in the healthcare technology industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive a sales team to success.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Chicago based with willingness to work in office part-time
  • Ability to travel up to 25% annually.
