You will play a central role in delivering some of the most critical energy infrastructure projects across the MECA region, working in partnership with governments and leading energy bodies to bring next-generation nuclear to life.

The Job Mission
This is a senior leadership role accountable for nuclear and large scale energy projects across the MECA region.
The initial focus will be on overseeing the nuclear development programme in Uzbekistan.
You will assume full regional responsibility over time through a structured transition process.

• Lead the full project lifecycle from feasibility to commissioning across multiple nations
• Represent Assystem to major nuclear clients and governmental authorities in MECA
• Take strategic ownership of delivery across programmes in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye and others
• Ensure compliance with global nuclear safety and regulatory standards
• Develop regional PMO capabilities and implement best practice project governance
• Build and scale project delivery teams aligned with project and client maturity
• Deliver against revenue, margin and performance KPIs
• Provide high-level oversight of risk, budget, schedule and quality across all programmes

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum 15 years in nuclear, energy generation or large-scale infrastructure project leadership
• Proven experience leading international, multi-country project portfolios
• Deep understanding of nuclear regulatory frameworks and licensing
• Strong stakeholder engagement experience in Middle East/Central Asia
• Demonstrable strategic and commercial acumen
• Fluent in English
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region
• Experience operating in Tier 1 contractor or government advisory capacity

Assets

• Arabic, Russian or Turkish language skills
• PMP, APM or equivalent project management certification
• Past experience in transition or succession planning roles
