Director, Project Implementation

About Packsize

Packsize is redefining the way businesses and their customers use and experience packaging around the world. We build the technology, design the right solutions, and automate the processes that propel the industry forward. To us, packaging is much more than a box—it’s delivering what’s right for our customers, their customers, our people, and the planet.

Role Summary

The Director of Project Implementation owns the post-contract implementation experience, ensuring every customer has a world-class start with Packsize and reaches time-to-value quickly, predictably, and profitably. This role leads the Implementation pillar within the Growth Department and is accountable for converting signed contracts into realized, stable revenue through disciplined project execution.

You will bring deep expertise and a successful Project Management track record, managing scope, cost, and risk or varying sizes and complexities

Role Summary

  • Implementation Strategy & Execution: Own the post-contract implementation motion from signature through CS handoff, drives predictable time-to-value and customer acceptance, balancing speed, quality, and gross margin in delivery

  • Project Planning & Delivery: Lead implementation planning and execution, coordinate hardware installation and software integrations, and ensure clear project plans, scope, and timelines for every deployment

  • Go-Live Readiness & Stabilization: Own go-live criteria and customer acceptance standards, ensure defined stabilization period prior to CS handoff, and prevent premature handoffs that create downstream risk

  • Standardization & Scalability: Develop standardized implementation playbooks and artifacts, partner with CS Ops on visibility, reporting, and scalability, and drive modular onboarding paths by customer complexity

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Sales and Account Management on scope and expectation, coordinate with Customer Success and Service Operations, and escalate implementation risk early with mitigation plans

  • Risk Reduction & Margin Protection: Reduce churn risk caused by poor implementations, minimize rework, delays, and margin leakage by partnering with the manufacturing and quality organizations

  • People Leadership & Capability Development: Lead, coach, and develop implementation teams, and build a culture of disciplined execution and accountability

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field

  • Project management experience, including 5+ years leading teams in an industrial hardware automation industry

  • Proven success managing large-scale automation implementations.

  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
